Assad’s forces are bearing down on a rebel sector in Aleppo in which unfortunate civilians are trapped. More than 80 have been shot on sight today. These are human beings who have been caught up among the various factions fighting for control of the city for four years. Think about that – four years of missiles, bullets and bombs. Those who weren’t able to flee have lived an existence few of us can even imagine.
